After the success of BMW X3 the company has decide to expand its range of crossover SUV’s. The company is on a go to design a small crossover SUV named as BMW X1 tiny that will be positioned below the BMW X3 and is expected to pose some competition to vehicles as the new Nissan Qashqai.
This new vehicle is under planning and is expected to arrive in late 2010. The BMW X1 will be based on the 1-Series platform and will feature the same xDrive AWD system we saw on the current BMW X3.
