Toyota to recall large batch of SUVs

50,000 Toyota Sequoia SUV cars have been recalled by the Japanese manufacturer, after problems with ‘unexpected slowing’ affecting the vehicles. the problem related to the cars stability control system activating at low speeds and preventing the SUV from accelerating at a reasonable rate. This news comes after Toyota recalled millions of Prius models due to breaking issues with the eco-car, and busineses with Toyota car lease deals will suffer. Because of the company’s poor response to accelerator pedal faults, the US government ordered a fine of $16.4 million. Finally it appears that Toyota is getting back on track after it’s recent mistakes, but these mistakes should never have happened in the first place. SUVs are really heavy-duty vehicles and any problems with the workings could have serious effects on performance. SUVs are quite popular vehicles with car leasing companies such as Frontierleasing.co.uk, however Toyota will quickly be losing its reputation and guarantee if these problems persist.
